General tips for Access Bank Graduate Job Aptitude Tests

This preparation guide helps you to prepare for Access bank’s Front-liner’s & Graduate trainee programme aptitude tests. The aim of this article is to  help you familiarize with the kind of questions you will face in the test.

Overview of Access bank aptitude test

Access bank uses aptitude assessments as part of their multi-stage assessment procedures for the selection and development of staff. Research has shown that they are powerful predictors of performance at work. The test is usually conducted by the in-house recruitment department at their training college.

General format for access bank test:

The test contains sections such as Business Mathematics and Quantitative reasoning, Test of English language /Verbal reasoning, G.B.A(General Bank Awareness) and Current Affairs to be completed within 60mins. The time allotted to complete the test is subject to change every year.

Have a pen and paper to hand to indicate your answers and make notes. You will NOT use a calculator. The actual test is strictly timed. Try to complete each set within time recommended in this study pack.

Checking your Answers

Check your answers against the correct answers after each test set. Look at any questions you got wrong and try to understand how to arrive at the correct answer. Keep in mind that inmost aptitude tests, people typically do not complete all of the questions within the time limit. If you took much longer than 90 minutes to answer the questions, try to speed up your work rate. If you finished all of the questions within the time limit but made many mistakes, try focusing more on the accuracy of your responses.
